Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Surigao del Norte spearheaded by OIC, PENRO Alejandra B. Boiser and CENRO Ruel E. Efren in partnership with the Register of Deeds represented by Ms. Emelie B. Quines and Local Government Unit of Tubod through the Municipal Assessor’s Office represented by Ms. Jay Grace B. Maglinte led the distribution of land titles to Fifty Two (52) identified beneficiaries composed of 32 females and 20 males on April 20, 2022 at Tubod Municipal Gymnasium in Municipality of Tubod, Surigao del Norte during the Handog Titulo Program 2022. All the beneficiaries were very glad as they finally have a copy of their own land titles.
Handog Titulo Program seeks to expedite the processing and issuance of public land patents to qualified recipients to alleviate poverty and fuel progress and development.
Partnerships on Public Land Titling Program aims to fast-track the disposition of untitled lots and processing of public land titles through residential and agricultural free patents to provide security of land tenure to land owners and spur economic activity from land related transactions. This is also one of the 10-point priority programs of the agency under the Improved Land Administration and Management.
